### Introduction
If you’re craving a light, flavourful dish that’s quick to prepare, this Spicy Tuna Tartare with Avocado is a must-try! Made with fresh sashimi-grade tuna, creamy avocado, and a kick of sriracha, it’s a perfect balance of heat and coolness. The addition of sesame seeds and a touch of soy sauce brings a subtle nutty and umami flavor, while the creamy mayo ties it all together. Whether served as an appetizer or a light main course.
### Ingredients for 2-3 people
* Sashimi grade tuna (200 grams)
* Spring onion (2 sprigs)
* Sesame oil (1 teaspoon)
* Soy sauce (2 teaspoons) (use tamari soy sauce for gluten free version)
* Siracha (2 teaspoons) (or more if you want it even more spicy!) 1
* Mayonaise (2-3 teaspoons) (kewpie mayo is even more delish!)
* Sesame seeds (1 tablespoon)
* Avocado (1 medium sized)
* pinch of salt
### Instructions
1. Cut and dice the tuna to a paste and add it to a bowl
2. Cut the spring onion and mix with all the ingredients one by one in the bowl
3. Mash the ripe avocado and mix with a bit of salt in a separate bowl
4. Build the tuna tartare by first adding the mashed avocado on a plate and then topping it with the tuna tartare mixture
