*Fresh, delicious and healthy main that can be whipped up fast!* #dinner #Glutenfree #seafood ### Introduction There’s something irresistible about fresh, flavorful poke bowls and sushi—they’re light, satisfying, and packed with delicious textures. As a huge fan of both, I decided to experiment in my own kitchen and create my own versions. These recipes are simple, customizable, and perfect for anyone who loves a good mix of seafood, rice, and vibrant toppings. I hope you enjoy this as much as I do! ### Ingredients for 2-3 people * 1 avocado * Sushi rice (300 gr) * Rice vinegar (10-20 ml) * Spring onion (2 sprigs) * Radish (50 gr) * Carrots (100 grams, julienne cut) * Sashimi grade Salmon or Tuna > [!tip] > Option swap of the unseasoned sashimi grade tuna or salmon for [[Salmon tartare (Asian inspired)]] or [[Spicy Tuna Tartare (Asian inspired)]] (without the avocado base) if you have some leftovers from making one of these recipes! ### Instructions 1. Cook the sushi rice according to the instructions of the box (most use the sushi rice vinegar at the end of the cooking); set the rice to cool 2. Julienne the carrots (or buy them already cut) 3. Slice the radishes and the spring onion finely 4. Dice the avocado 5. Dice the sashimi grade tuna or salmon (or use the [[Salmon tartare (Asian inspired)]]or [[Spicy Tuna Tartare (Asian inspired)]]) 6. Assemble your bowl by adding 1 or 2 scoops of rice first to the bowl, and then a handful of all the ingredients. > [!tip] > These are my favourite veggies when I am building my poke bowl but any fresh veggies are great such as : > * Edamame beans > * Mango > * Crispy onions/ garlic/ seaweed crisps > * Pickeled ginger ![[pokebowl tuna.png |250]] *In this picture I've added pickeled ginger to my poke bowl!
