Whether you’re meal prepping or serving up a quick weeknight dinner, this recipe is a must-try for quinoa lovers! ### Ingredients for 2-3 people * Steak (400 - 500 grams) * Corn starch (1 - 2 teaspoons) * Carrots (200 grams, Julienne cut) * Tauge (100 grams) * Radishes (200 grams) * 2 Sprigs of celery * Quinoa (400 grams) * Garlic (2 cloves, minced) * Soy sauce (20-30 ml) * Mirin (10 ml) * White pepper (1 teaspoon) * Egg yolk marinated in soy (optional) * Cilantro (10 grams) (optional) > [!note] > If you are not the type to like a raw eggs in your dish, just simply skip step 1 and continue on to step 2! > The dish is delicious on its own. ### Instructions Egg yolk (optional) > [!tip] > 1. You can marinate this egg yolk for 2-6 hours in soy sauce. The longer you marinate it, the more the egg cooks/hardens. My preference is 2 hours. So do this first things first if you are adding this guys ! > > > [!note] > > If you prefer to add the egg raw also skip this step for now and add it later just before serving the food ### Instructions preparation of quinoa and veggies: 2. Cook the quinoa according to the packaging instructions and set off to cool when done 3. Slice the radishes thinly 4. Slice the carrots julienne (if not already cut jullienne) ### Instructions marinating the steak 4. Cut in thin pieces the steak and put it in a bowl 5. Finely chop the 2 cloves of garlic and add to the bowl with the steak 6. Add the corn starch and 5-10 ml of soy sauce and 10 ml of the mirin to the bowl with the steak & garlic and mix well 7. Let this marinate for at least 10-30 minutes (if you have longer even better!) ### Instructions assembling the dish: 8. Cook the steak to your liking 9. Add the cut carrots and cook these thru 10. Add the cooked quinoa and mix well 11. Add the rest of the soy sauce, the white pepper and the tauge 12. Add the radishes and the tauge after cooking (to preserve their crispiness) 13.
