*A Decadent Dessert Recipe* #dessert ### Introduction Looking for a dessert that’s both elegant and easy to prepare? These puff pastry-wrapped caramelised pears are the perfect treat for any occasion. Combining the natural sweetness of pears with a rich, homemade caramel sauce, this recipe creates a delightful balance of flavours and textures. The golden, flaky puff pastry encases the tender pears, while the spiced caramel sauce adds a touch of warmth and indulgence. ### Ingredients 2-4 people * Pears (Ripe) (2- 3 medium size; it is 1/2 pear per person) * Unsalted butter (100 gr) * Granular sugar (50 gr) * Cloves (3 to 5) * Puff pastry ### Instructions of preheating the oven & preparation of the ingredients 1. Heat up the oven at 180 degrees Celsius (or the temperature noted on the packaging of the puff pastry of choice) 2. Thaw the puff pastry and when thawed cut them in little squares big enough to cover the half a pear 3. Peel the pear, slice the pear in half and depit them 4. Cover the 1/2 pear with the puff pastry and set apart ### Instructions for the caramel sauce 5. Melt the unsalted butter on low-medium heat (do not burn the butter) till fully melted 6. Add the sugar to it and start mixing well to dissolve the sugar in the butter 7. Add the cloves and on medium heat let the mixture caramelize a bit like a syruppy caramel 8. Add the pears with puff pastry and cook for 5 - 10 minutes so they can soak up the syrup ![[pears in caramel sauce.png| 250]] 9. Transfer the pears to a oven tray and put them in the oven to continue cooking them 10. Keep the caramel-sugar syrup on low heat 11.
