*A Classic Mexican sauce that should not be missing at any party #sauce #mexican ### Introduction Chips and guacamole were my favourite party snack to make as a student, and they’re still a crowd favourite! Here’s my easy recipe for this all-time classic. ### Ingredients: * 2 avocados * 1 lime or 1/2 lemon (juice) * 1 garlic clove * 2 splashes of tabasco * 1/2 medium sized tomato * Salt to taste ### Instructions: 1. If you are using a mortar, mash the clove of garlic in the mortar first with a little bit of salt. To really get it nice and fine like a paste. If you are not using a mortar, mince the garlic cloves as you normally do. ![[Screenshot 2025-03-10 at 16.05.25.png | 250]] 2. Scoop out and mash the avocados with the garlic paste or minced garlic in the mortar/bowl. 3. Squeeze the lime (or lemon) juice in the mashed avocados and mix well 4. Cut the tomatoes in rough cubes and mix well into the mashed avocados ![[Screenshot 2025-03-10 at 16.06.32.png | 250]] 5. Add a dash of tabasco and mix well 6. Salt to taste > [!Tip] >Add some fine cut cilantro or some white onion finely chopped to the guacamole for a change of pace! Simply Dushi!
